On top of all those listed was the Air France accident, which tarnished the reputation of Concorde (irrespective of the actual cause of the accident). I understand the cost per passenger mile was high, but this was because of the market the plane was tailored to: the businessman/upper class that was willing to pay for a luxury flight experience coupled with a flight time half of a standard airliner. At a time that the Concorde was suffering from the fallout of the AF accident 9/11 happened and caused a huge downturn in the commercial airline industry. This economic downturn sealed it's fate.
