I looked at how hollowtechs have no gap between the pedals and the frame (instead there's that weird bearing-holder-thing) and made something which I call the Body Guard. Now the chain can't wedge itself into the gap because the gap has been bridged. Maybe make something with a piece of eva rubber and a zip tie or hose clamp.
Then again, not an issue with hollowtechs because it was SOLVED when they were coming up with the design.
