Nottingham, UK has a notorious junction close to their train station, where the tram line goes from grade separation and merges with regular traffic - cars try to drive along the tramway by mistake, ignoring the NO ENTRY / TRAM ONLY signage, and are suprised to find a tram coming the other way. I'd guess even more people would do this if they were following a bus, onto what they'd assume is a regular road.
