The air filter in the gas chamber is not sufficient to filter the NOX in the gas. The math is so simple even a baby could do it. 2 gallons to move the gas chamber and the other 8 gallons is the gas. You can't filter gas with a simple char coal gas mask effectively either. You would need to treat the active char coal bits chemically first to block most of the NOX in the gas. The gas made the not sees apathetic to herding bodies in to gas chambers. Ask Fritz why he was so angry while he wasn't wearing a gas mask while he was operating the gas chambers.
