I drove one of these things for a few years. It's a bomb lift truck, the design is from the 60s. Little diesel engine (that runs on JP-8), rear wheel steering, no suspension, hydrostatic drive, front brake only. They're a god damn hand full on rough roads and in snow and ice. Kind of an odd ball machine, but they have been admirably doing the job since the Vietnam War.
