I was running the maxxis refuse fiull slick for the past few years. Recently a dog stick snapped 2 of my rear spokes and since i had to take the tires off to do the wheel work i decided to change things up a little. The maxxis receptor is a gravel tire i had no idea existed. Its 120 TPI and i am pretty darn sure its one of the fastest rolling 27.5 tires you can get. Its insanely fast. Hyperlite wheelsets and gravel tires on a full power EEB is pretty awesome.
