>>1760417>To produce a hundreds of rockets, to develop and test every single bit of base equipment they will need a whole US budget or even moreDemonstatable false they've already made the rocket design cheap enough and easy enough to mass produce that hundreds will not be prohibitively expensive. Other companies are also already developing new base equipment for NASA and commercial purposes and existing designs already exist. You also forget that SpaceX is making money and getting sizable amounts of R&D funding from NASA, the DoD and the air force.
>It is not a realistic scenario. You say this because you aren't paying attention.
>Few unmanned missions and a slow rebuilding of the Space station is the only things we could realistically pull off til 2050.100% FALSE. All of the transportation systems to build the lunar gateway, the moonbase and to land humans on the moon exist. 2 commercial space stations are making their debut flights over the next 2 years, we have handfuls of lunar probe missions set over the next 5 years and we have spacex giving us a real Mars timeline over the next 2 decades. Its close
>They could do it in a more crude manner with a few small single use rockets. Its a suicide mission anyway.Because they are using soviet copies and haven't developed their own tech yet.
>Remember how they deal with ccp-virus?Yes and it wasn't good.
