OP if your highway has nice big paved shoulders like that, you'll have plenty of room between you and the cars. Shit's noisy (esp transport trucks) but you'll get used to it. It'll feel sketchy the first time but just do it more than once. You don't need hi vis, throw a little red clip light on if you're going out at night but if you're nervous just stick to daytime for now. eZ peaZ
