Partially because the swell/wind can be dangerous with really close breakwaters, and partially because one of our bow thrusters is down so we need the extra pushing power standing by. The black marks all from fenders, though. Normally the tugs just use their wash to push us; the last time we had a tug actually push on us underway (we had to drift like half a mile off Ninini Point for a medical debark), it scratched the hell out of our bow. We needed the push so we didn't really care much about it; it was just more OT for the ABs later.
