Nothing in my post had to do with owning vs. renting.
There is nothing about suburbia that necessitates you own the house, dunno why you're conflating ownership models with building forms but I guess you don't know anything about housing or you're being dishonest.
In fact, single-family rentals are a booming market right now. There are several companies that own tens of thousands of suburban rental houses across America and they're buying more. Wall St loves this stuff.
If we freed up zoning laws, more people could afford to own their home.
