"Bike-friendly" areas have hideously high rents and high enough crime that there's a good chance you may not have a bicycle anymore when you leave a store or restaurant.
Hopefully, you do find a woman and decide that it would be your best interest to decide that obsessing about non-car transportation is more trouble than its worth and move what's best for you and your family. Maybe even *gasp* the suburbs!
