What up, /n/. I'm driving a 2005 Chevy PT Cruiser and the fans are blowing just fine...but it's not cold, even when I'm got the AC turned on max.
I have no real experience with this sort of thing, but I know freon is. Do y'all think it probably just needs a refill of freon or could it possibly be something else? Thanks for any help.

Tetrafluoroethane is what we use now but everyone still calls it freon.
Techs just call it 134.
OP just put more in , its cheap at walmart .
And try to go MGTOW if you get a chance because women are horrible

yeah it needs freon. buy a 10 dollar can that has the guage on it so you don't overfill.

If it goes back to being not blowing hot in a week or two take it into a mechanic to have the condensor (expensive) and the lines (cheap) checked.

Most likely it just needs a 10 dollar top off. Also you feel like the king of miami in a car with a full freon charge that blows 59
