The man's life was saved by an ambulance crew but his penis could not be rescued.
But BAZA - with links to Russian law enforcement - reported that Alena told police she cut his manhood 'by accident during a BDSM session' rather than during an argument.
The report stated the couple 'indulged in lovemaking all night long'.
'As Alena said, the games became increasingly violent, and at 5am she picked up a knife.
'The amount of alcohol was also increasing with each passing minute.
'In the end, the woman's hand trembled, and she accidentally almost cut off her partner's penis.'
He was rushed to hospital 'but they were unable to save the important organ'.
The report added: 'The police who arrived at the scene confiscated a bloody knife and a leather belt.
'Denis has not yet been interviewed'.
It comes after a woman was arrested in Brazil last year after allegedly chopping off her husband's penis because he was unable to stay aroused during a sexual encounter.
