There is exactly 1 kill known to have been caused by a protester and they claimed self-defense and were never found guilty.

But let's say your 25 figure were actually correct. Every murder that happened anywhere in a city during a protest was caused by protesters. That still wouldn't cause a noticeable change in the US murder rate, which is high as fuck.
