He may literally have had an IQ of like 70-75, you know 1 in 50 people does. That's not really very rare. Being that dumb just makes you do dumb shit like this, it does not mean you are so dumb you can't learn to walk or anything.
But really just think, if some random faggot had walked by that bus during the weeks he was starving to death and left him some sandwiches and gone and gotten some help we never would have heard of all this and it would not even be a story known in that town. It's just a perfect storm of events that made a fatal case of stupidity seem like a romantic adventure.
