>>2482667In Norway we have something called Allemannsretten (Everyman's right), which means that anyone who wishes is free to set up camp, roam around and scavenge for natural resources like mushrooms, fish or fruit almost anywhere out in nature, as long as you act considerate towards your surroundings.
So as long as you find somewhere far enough away from any cabins or hiking trails and don't start chopping down the forest no one is gonna come bother you.
Though it might be tough getting through winter with nothing but a makeshift shield from the cold, especially if you go somewhere far north (which is where the real natural beauty lies).
If you wish to stay there longer I'd consider saving up for a cheap cottage in the middle of nowhere or buying a piece of land and building your own.
You can use
Finn.no to browse for available property, the site is in Norwegian but just use google translate to navigate around. I'd recommend looking in the "Nordland" and "Troms og Finnmark" counties as that's generally where you find the cheapest and most remote land.
