and I suppose you're thinking about the flimsy white plastic knife, but seeing as he cut himself with it, he must be talking about a polycarbonate knife. they're bombproof and cut really hard, not to mention incredibly light and cheap as fuck, so yeah, if cutting food is your only need for a knife, it's ideal.
and 420 steel is enough for food too, unless you completely missed the point of this thread, which is that most people don't even need a knife.
