Subcuticular is best for cosmetic closure on thin skin (eg face) but is weakest tension and most difficult. The rest are specialty surgical closures you shouldn't worry about. But I wouldn't try any without watching them done step by step, at least on YouTube. Plus, without a medical-grade suturing kit, you're likely to do even more damage trying to use a sewing needle or some shit.
If you wind up at a hospital for whatever reason, try to pick these three things up. ERs always throw out opened suturing kits even if only one piece of them was used, so docs/nurses aren't stingy about just giving away the otherwise-sterile leftovers.
