I'm a huge automotive buff and I love turn-of-the-century heavy iron engines. Anything steam, or early 2-stroke diesel type combustion engines (Like Kahlenberg diesels).
There are also some interesting natural clay & granite formations around here. The aquatic life can be interesting. I've had small panfish follow me around and nip at my gear. I've had a bluegill once swim backwards 12 inches from my mask, while staring at me before. I've been bumped by HUGE territorial carp.
