http://webapp.navionics.com/?lang=en assuming it's got a good level of detail wherever you are, look for holes, trenches, little hills and ledges, general features on the seabed, try to imagine how the tide will be flowing in the area and whether at certain times it will be flowing straight over the feature, if you imagine all the food and shit being rolled along the seabed in the tide and right in the path of that is a big pit in the seabed, stuff will start to gather in it and the fish'll be going there, if they are bottom feeders, but same for fish that feed higher in the water, they can hang around these features out of the current a little and ambush the smaller fish that are drifting along with the tide.
another thing i do is go on google earth and look for boats on the water without a wake behind them (meaning they are static obviously), sitting in places that seem unlikely as a mooring, i'll then cross check the spot on navionics to see if there's any likely looking feature underwater that they'd be fishing on, which there quite often is.
