Found out about a coming new release from Böker that I believe has the potential to be a strong competition of Fällkniven (actually outclassing them especially in blade steel at its price point), the Bronco. They describe it as a "high saber grind", so I'm guessing it's a flat grind. Could be a point of contention for some.
The leather sheath may be a good idea, from what I've heard plastic or kydex sheaths on the F1 tend to damage the soft TPE material over time.
