Reason for me being that the light is bright, they withstand serious abuse, and this may sound weird but I like the fact that when you run the chrono or the timer, it still displays the current time without the need to circle through modes.
I have the 6900 because it was cheaper than the 5600 at the time I got it, but I'd probably buy the 5600 instead if I buy a new one.
Also, I like the timex ironman sleeks, they have interval timers, bright as fuck lights, huge fucking digital screens while being very thin. Also durable but I've had problems with the bands after 8 years of use. Also, no solar options afaik, unlike gshocks. Pic related, my timex, everybody already knows how the gshocks look anyway.
I used to believe in the need for analog faces for compass, but it means shit, I just carry a proper map compass.
