Backpacking is a whole different ball game. I love being dirty, the bugs, the dirt in my toes when I take my boots off, the smell of smoke and the cold creek that runs by my camp. And above all being completely alone and having a sense of self reliability and knowing if you get fucked your screwed. But even more than that. The thing that ties all men together is the Struggle. Women don't particularly like adversity but men on the other hand are more likely to embrace it. That's why men like backpacking and the outdoors and women don't.
