I keep feeders all around my property to fatten and attract local game. as soon as fall rolls around I spend the fall and winter hunting and trapping to fill my freezer for the rest of the year. this was what i took in an hour hunt last fall with my .22 air rifle.
I don't hunt until the second hard frost of the year, since the hides won't have bot flies in them. I suggest boiling squirrels in a salt and herb brine for at least 30 min before roasting, grilling or frying to help flavor and to make them tender.
