Decided on a whim to stop at the creek after class since the weather will be shit for the next few days and I ended up having the best day of trout fishing I’ve ever had in only 2 and a half hours. Best fish wasn’t the biggest I caught but a surprise rainbow trout. They never have stocked rainbows in here so I’m not sure how they even got up here. Size 18 hares ear was killing it. Tied on a wet fly as my point fly and that started killing it too. Probably caught 6-7 total.
