Protects against junkies, tweakers and any rogue wildlife, but would property owners / police reactions be more hostile if I am discovered? I also usually go out during the day time as I feel more "criminals" would be out at night stealing and drawing more suspicion to me? Or is night time superior due to a smaller amount of people being out aka less chance of being discovered and easier concealment?
