It's a bummer not only because I failed to last even a single night in a forest, but also because I didn't get to my destination which was all I really cared about. I still have a few days I'll probably drive a car there to do what I wanted to do, or maybe ride bikes with friend there (the one that drove me back, he saw that the distance can be cleared in 2 days in map app and is considering it).
Despite failure and my feet hurting like motherfucker now, it was actually really fun. I heard or saw a bunch of wild birds, I walked through a beautiful area that had a bunch of lakes, passed some small villages that have like 5 homes each where people live in the middle of forest.
I was too ambitious and set myself a goal that was way over my head. I need to learn some survival skills in close proximity to city first, and invest in a better backpack and a pot before I start doing trips longer than a day. I'm not going to even try before I can pack at least 6 litres of water for a day (not only drinking but cleaning too) and have means to boil enough water to clean.
