>>17570Thanks.
>>17579>Do you ever use any of it?I try too. The outdoors is a fairly new hobby for me. I use the knife, sharpener and the scout kit often. The scout kit has a compass, torch, mini knife and first aid kit, and i keep some tinder in there as well.
The axe and parang I bought for just a bit of fun. The axe is probably the best hatchet I've ever used though. It is really well balanced and molded, and the handle is grippy as fuck. I can post a better pic of it if you like.
>btw that machete will break eventually. Not sure why but I've seen 3 of them brought back broke in the last 2 months.Yeah, the early run ones had a weakness with the tang near the top of the handle. Most of this stuff is pretty new to my country, and given that mine has the revised sheath, I can only hope it is the post-laceration-recall model (which means it shouldn't break like it used to). I can only hope though.
>Pic: An RAAF C-130J. I have no idea why it was on the cocos that day, it seemed to be dropping off supplies of some kind. I assume the airforce crew needed some kit dropped off on this very remote island.
