>>2511780For stabbing. It's nice to have as a tool and I have other means of fighting but it's nice to have a backup and I know the tip won't bend and go through what I need it to. Sometimes the angle of the tanto makes it annoying to use to cut/carve but it's never caused so much of a headache that I switched over to the clip point. I didn't spring for the double edge for obvious reasons along with the fact that if I wanted to cut something I wouldn't be able to put my thumb on the spine to get extra leverage.
The clip point is prettier and maybe a bit more comfy, but I have this thing in my boot and I can trust that it won't snap because its essentially just a big rectangle of steel. Who knows anon, I like this thing so much I might get a clip to put on my other shoe lmao
