Only multitool I need. Leatherman wave.
Got it as a gift ages ago and really love it as a good alrounder. You have quick access to the cutting tools and it has stuff you can at least get some use out of, rather than 50 features I do neither want nor need. It's built like a tank and has withstood some insane abuse by me, including leaving it outside for over a year in a bowl that collected rain and snow. All I got was this matte patina, it still works perfectly.
It's very expensive, but you notice the quality your money gets you at least and for me due to the memories I made with it and it being a gift by my parents I have become emotionally attached to it at this point.
>tell me why you think it's the perfect one for you
Has all the features I regularly use, but not many more. Sturdy, doesn't get damaged easily, good form factor, gets the job done for basically any task, be it cutting wire, holding things, pulling thorns out of my skin, cracking nuts, cutting things, or anything related. Pair it with a extra knife for fishing that is easy to clean and you got 80% of usecases covered and can probably improvise something with it for the other 20%.
