We're depersonalized-
The fact we don't have us vs them tribal borders means that we don't have "us" and it's really just a sea of people
Everyone is anonymous to some level, which means we care less about the people around us, we don't have attachment to them
Which has to effect on a spiritual level because care for others is a major part of most/all religions.
