Im not living in a real city, just villages that grown together in a highly populated place in NRW in Germany but the whole landscape around is turned upsite down by a big electricity company which digs for brown coal.
Because of this there is noch real nature where you can go. Heres a lot of agriculture, big holes with baggers in it, huge hills where they put the soil they baggered off partially recultivated with thin trees, 4(!) powerplants (from the right angle i can see 3 at the same time) a lot of wind turbines and a poor artifical lake with thin trees around where you can walk for 30 minutes until you see fields and turbines again.
If i want to get really /out i have to drive somewhere and even then i will meet a ton of hikers and people + everywhere its forbidden to camp in the woods, make fire etc.
tl;dr: Im really jealous of people who have a lot of nature around them.
