you also kinda run the risk of dating a geologist who loves lab work. This probably applies to All natural sciences.
My geoGF is moreso a nerd with a sprinkling of /out/. I occasionally wish she was moreso outdoor-inclined. But she’s lovely and always down for a semi-strenuous hike or backcountry camping as long as I do the logistics.
Just don’t give up and get cynical/redpill yourself. That’s the best way to guarantee a lack of touch for the rest of your life.
