Not a /out/ and /out/ UL addict but I’m a bikepacker who appreciates being able to climb mountains without cursing myself for lugging a bunch of shit I don’t need. I have the other UL staples like BRS-3000, mini bic, Toaks 750ml, Lightheart Gear rain jacket, packable down puffy, lightweight fleece, merino socks etc.
I don’t buy Nitecore stuff since you can buy quality chink headlamps for a quarter of the price and they are lighter too.
I’m actually debating on wether or not to bring a kobo eReader. It’s about 200g and it’s compact but I’m really wondering if I’ll actually read It while on tour, I bet my phone will suffice. Just decided to get rid of a 450g backrack bag since I can just stuff my tent into a 50g DCF dry bag and call it a day.
