>>1007248fuck me when I finish typing this shit and realize thread is at 329....
>>1006725>have to be replaced every 6 months from light fishingI mostly agree ther than this. I've got $12 shimano rear drags that have lasted me 20 years. I don't use it in the salt often though.
$100-200 should get a reel that will last a lifetime if cared for.
$50-100 may get you the same but I've also got $60 pieces of shit (skeet reese carbon) that were list 120 or some shit.
>>1006730>70 Is high endno..... not even close
>>1006780>70 is high range for spinningmaybe for freshies.....
>>1007150Was talking to an old timer at a swap recently and he said you have to use over 40#. I'm going to test that soon. Just need to find my notes on what I have on each reel.
>@anon asking about MTB/LTBI've done both for the last year.
LTB Inshore @19.99 wasn't worth it. Not terrible but bait presentation wasn't native to my area. Switched to fly box and 1st one was shit. If 2nd is crap I'm cancelling.
MTB did trout box. Have been 99% happy. No shit, no filler. Well worth the 15 each month.
>>1007163Wow dude. Right tool for the job.... I do both and fuck around with [pic related] (yeah, rear drag) occasionally in the salt. It's still alive and I bought it in the 80's
>>1007239pretty sure my Cheeky is.
