I like the way you guys think. There's nothing wrong with bringing electronics innawoods, and the ability to blast your favorite porn at your campsite is well and truly an honorable goal. But, why would you use a laptop for those things? Any modern Android device is a laptop replacement, with 1080p screens and gigabytes of storage space. Fuck, the HTC One even has front-facing stereo speakers. An Android is going to require much, much less power than a laptop, and be much, much lighter.
You can use an external bluetooth keyboard and mouse with any Android, and you get a full computing experience. Put your device in a Gorillapod to keep it mounted in front of you.
Or you could use a tablet in the same setup, if you really cared about screen real estate.
