Its pretty good desu I just walk around all day, its pretty much an exact 50/50 mix of office (processing data) & /out/ time.
in Australia it pays very well, unsure about other countries though, its pretty much just trigonometry and looking at linework all day.
Sometimes we do fauna surveys (animal tracking), weed surveys (invasive weeds), flora surveys (endangered species)
