These aren't hiking boots but I hike with them. I've worn these every day for 2 years at work, when I'm /out/, when I go shopping whatever. They fit perfectly to my feet. Ive walked through ankle deep marshes as come out on the other side with dry cozy feet. I wouldn't recommend boots like this for rough terrain because lack of grip but for general use why not? Made in USA red wings are a solid boot. My coworker made fun of me for spending $200 on boots but he's gone through 4 pairs on chinkshit boots in the time I've had these.
I've never oiled them though, just occasional waterproofing. How the hell do I do that?
