the coconut tabs expand when in contact with water, you water them, plant one seed and wait. half the seeds don't grow and the coconut tab goes into the trash. but if the seed grows, it can grow to a decent size in the tab, then you transplant the whole thing into a pot, no unrooting, no nothing, just burry it in new earth and its good. i'm clumsy, so this is easier for me. also coconut tabs are very cheap because so many marijuana growers use them.
