Can anyone give me a bit of reassurance?
I'm planning to drive from roughly Manchester area to Cairn Gorm on Sunday and do 3 days of hiking.
I'm kind of bricking it a bit now. It's already snowy and icy in northern England, though I am sure the low ground and motorways will be alright. But the forecast is not looking great around the highlands.
In fact, there's a big pink anus opened over the exact area I'm going, indicating 200cm of snow accumulation. I pray that's wrong, but hoping that someone that's been in that area before can give advice about what to expect with the roads and conditions. Is it going to be doable or am I going to get stuck?
