no im not a larper that just wants to carry. i never intended on buying a gun for hiking or camping but this weekend i saw THREE separate moose near two different campsites and literally almost walked into a fucking bullmoose while on a standard hike. if i hadnt realized i was looking at an antler before taking a few more steps i probably would have died, and all i had on me was >muh buck
so what are the best handguns for this? i live in black bear and (evidently) moose country. ive heard 9mm is almost useless and heavy revolvers are common, but as a nogunz that seems like a stretch for me
