What do you need? A quilt is useless without a sleeping pad, but a sleeping pad is useless without a quilt or bag. A knife is cool, but you don’t need a $120 knife. You could get a zlite sol for $45 and have $75 leftover to put towards a quilt

The only 2 Bear Grylls items I bought was the paracord knife (which I've had for 5 years and I highly recommend) and the solar wrap charger which works very well in its comparative price point competition.

If you're committed to one of those three you should go for the quilt as you'll get the most use out of it both /out/ and /in/ unless you plan to go immediately without building a big kit in which case get the pad as a knife isn't strictly necessary and you can improvise for bedding from whatever you use at home.

You should work on improving your experience. Better sleep is a good investment in my opinion. A new knife doesn't really add much enjoyment other than having a new tool. Unless you don't have a decent knife then it could be a good investment. Think about your last trip, what could have made it better and buy that.
