I've camped at about 10-20F and it's fine as long as you keep your gear dry, you pitch properly so you don't get any moisture breaching your inner, and you have means of cooking hot food - porridge first thing in the morning when your tent's frozen is great.
The biggest problem is this country is daylight - right now if you pitch while you've still got light you'll be in bed by 5pm. In December when I visit my family further north you get like 6 hours of light. Pitch early while you can still scout terrain properly, there's nothing worse than scrambling about in the darkness looking for amenable terrain and then having a shit night because you camped over uneven ground or shrubs or a snow cavity. Then just bring a book or something, get loads of sleep then strike camp before sunrise.
