Has anyone had the job of Fisheries Observer? I am thinking of signing a contract with a company that operates on the West Coast, mostly Alaska. Pay seems to be pretty good, you get paid to take three weeks of classes. And if you make it past 90 days of at Sea deployment you get a raise. Just wondering how to manage my expectations.
