Now that the country of Afghanistan is not exactly at war and not currently being built up by the Chinese do you think it would be possible to go and explore Afghanistan?

I have an idea to get on good terms with the new government and get their blessing to come and enjoy some /out/ time in their beautiful country. I have heard a lot of good things about Afghan hospitality and the beauty and wild nature of the country. Obviously there will be some obstacles to overcome and I would avoid the regions that saw the most fighting like Helmand and Kandahar provinces. I don't know I've not given it much thought yet.

What do you guys think, would you fancy going /out/ in Afghanistan?
