wanted to post in the fanny pack thread but it died. some people where wondering how this setup would work out. the belt is the condor gen 2. my goal is to put all of my heavy items on the belt. i went for a 3 mile hike and on its own the belt is too floppy for the loads I wanted to put on it. to fix this I cut some 16th inch ABS plastic into a stiffiner for. I also made inserts to stiffen the bags attached to the belt. this worked really well. i put about 25 lbs of stuff on it to test , (more than I ever plan too) and its pretty comfortable. as far as quality, the belt and all the molle bags are super shitty but this really was kind of and experiment for me.
