US National Parks are horribly run
BLM+Nat Park service have a combined budget of SEVEN FUCKING BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR
SEVEN BILLION
and they still charge 30-50 dollars for every single Nat Park and podunk tiny little monument
What the fuck do they do with all this money?
Almost every nat park and land management road is fucking atrocious
the parking lots are even worse
you need a HAZMAT suit to enter any nat park rest room
Why do they need 35 dollars per car fee to see some little indian ruins?
What exact is that money doing? The little pamphlet can't cost more than .20 cents
thats basically it as far as cost
they don't even have rangers manning a ticket booth any more for most
they have a shitty app you need and then buy tickets/pay random fees online (usually in areas with SHIT internet/cell service)
Every campsite in CO was closed when I went there, I guess they are throwing a little shit fit cuz Drumpf or something
Everything in Utah, AZ and NM was open.
Some campsites you can't even tell if there are spots until you have ALREADY paid to enter into the site, so if they are full, you paid and there's no way to get your money back
