(and his pal) who were 16 or years old at the time and had never been in Boy Scouts or been camping.
At the time, my friends and I were into dirt-biking and we mounted up on our dirt bikes and quads and
roared off into the woods, leaving the two newbies at camp.
Several hours later we came back and as I was coming down the two-track into camp, all I could see
was a vast cloud of white smoke drifting everywhere, like something out of a fuck'n Hollywood movie,
completely obscuring the camp site.
My first thought was; "holy shit, those dumbasses set the camp on fire!" but when I pulled up to the
site, I discovered they had found a huge ass log (at least 2' in diameter and 5'-6' long) and simply
dropped it on top of the campfire....
The bottom of the log was scorched and smoldering, with smoke billowing off it and the fire was almost
extinguished and when I asked them WTF they had been thinking, they said;
"What, dude? It's a huge ass log and will burn all night long, man!"
