You gotta be able to:
>buy the camera>buy the lenses needed (and top quality ones for it to be really worth the change)>afford to: break it / send it to be repaired / have it stolen / buy another camera or lenses in case something goes wrong>not be afraid of those possibilities or else you'll stop going out to shoot because you'll treat your camera as a treasure rather than a tool for making photosI personally think that there are cameras/lenses as good as M42s for way less, it's pure fetishism
So then again... great camera but not worth it unless 1. you truly can afford it and 2. don't mind spending money
