I need IBIS and a grip because I was born with neurological issues. I will probably die from suicide at 60-70 when my essential tremor turns into full blown parkinsons. My right arm has nerve damage from being smashed when I got T-boned by a pickup so half my grip strength is totally gone and without a good grip I shake really badly or just drop shit.
Right now my minimum for reliably handholding an 85mm on FF with no IBIS is 1/250, with one hand supporting the lens, kneeling.
Even then I've used a lot of cameras without grips, and pretty long lenses on them too, just by adjusting my technique.
You're all whiners and would be fine with a short, gripless brick SLR. If you're healthy you should be able to use a Nikon ZF and a 24-70 f2.8 (and no added grip) without complaining. I understand wanting to help the disabled but manufacturers should just make cameras without any grip, keep them as short as possible, and let people add the extra size back on with a grip+arca plate, maybe even one that fits their hands better than a one size fits all. It would just be better for everybody.
